How fast time flies! July is already here and it feels like winter was just yesterday…
However, so many things happened since then, and June was certainly one of the busiest month the company has ever experienced.

OUR INAUGURAL FIRSTSCREEN CONFERENCE
AppLift hosted its first own conference that brought together the worlds of mobile technology and advertising. FirstScreen took place in our vibrant city of Berlin, playing host to welcome some of the most brilliant minds in the industry.
Speakers such as futurist Pablos Holman, former professional football player Demy de Zeeuw, Dubsmasher Suchit Dash, or Melissa Gallo from the IAB Tech Lab shared their insights and visions for tomorrow’s mobile world. Get a glimpse into the FirstScreen Conference right here.
MICROSERVICES MEETUP WITH SOUNDCLOUD AND DYNATRACE
In June we also hosted a MeetUp about Microservices with Martin Gutenbrunner from Dynatrace and Bora Tunca from Soundcloud. More precisely, the “Availability Objectives of SoundCloud’s Microservices” and “Performance Analysis and Call Tracing in Microservice Environments” were the two main topics of the evening, after which the attendees could enjoy discussions and socialize while enjoying food and cold beverages. THE FUTURE OF PROGRAMMATIC

THE APPLIFT FAMILY REUNION PART 1
While the events in June sure kept us busy, what made it special was to have AppLifters from all our offices across the world gather and reunite in Berlin for a week of fun bonding and lots of hard work! From Seoul, San Francisco or Bangalore, the AppLift family has never been so full, happy and good-looking!

AppLift being part of bigger Hitfox family, as is the case every year, the Hitfox Summer Strategy Event was the occasion for us to gather with our colleagues from all our sister companies. Seminars, talks, workshops, business games, BBQs and buffets… all of this in a former industrial cargo harbor setting. What a great way to celebrate the upcoming year and the summer at the same time!
