March was an exciting month for the AppLift’s Bangalore office, with plenty of internal and external events to keep the spirits high!
The Bangalore team kick started the month with a special in-house event to celebrate the hard-working ladies at AppLift, in recognition of the International Women’s Day. A yummy surprise of cupcakes and flowers awaited the ladies in an evening of fun get-together.
Next up was a Midnight Cycling Marathon that AppLift organized for its employees with an aim of promoting fitness and recreation. A team of 25 cycling enthusiasts saddled up for a midnight cycling event from AppLift’s office in Koramangala to the heart of the city at MG Road, and back, covering a distance of around 12 kms. Geared up in the signature AppLift grey jerseys, our employees conquered the streets of Bangalore, much to the amusement of the crowd — some of whom even stopped by to find out more about us!
March is also the arrival of spring in India, ushered in with much enthusiasm by celebrating the festival of Holi. Marked by smearing colors on each other and having sweets specially made for the occasion, the festival is celebrated with much joy and fervor across India. AppLift, too, joined in the festivities with delicious festival food, as all employees came together decked up in their best traditional attire!
AppLift India also hosted a meetup in partnership with JS Channel. The event was in the form of a workshop on the topic “Ionic framework 1.x with AngularJS 1.x”. It was attended by a number of mobile tech enthusiasts from across the city, and it helped showcase our focus on promoting discussions in the mobile ad tech space in Bangalore.
March ended on a high note for the AppLift team when we hosted an exclusive event for some of our top partners. Together, we attended a thrilling T20 cricket world cup match between India and Bangladesh at the famous Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium in Bangalore. Aimed at strengthening partnerships, the event provided a fun bonding ground for employees and partners, as they cheered for Team India in the trademark blue jersey!
