Join the AppLift Team: Recruitment at AppLift

Welcome to a new blog in our ongoing series on “Joining the AppLift team.” So far into this series, you have heard from us on creating the right resume to a sneak peek into our interview process and what you can expect during your first days at AppLift.

This time we have our Talent Acquisition Specialist, Michael Mrizig from our headquarters in Berlin to give you an overview of what our recruitment process looks like. During our recruitment process, we want to ensure that the candidate has a smooth journey and learns about us as much as we learn from them. Watch the video to find out more.

Here is a transcript:

What does the interview process look like?

We start with an initial HR call for the purpose of getting to know you better as a person, discovering your motivation and, of course, to give you a better insight of the company and to answer questions you may have.

As a next step, we have a case study in place to give you already a better understanding of what the role entails. If the team’s feedback on the case study is positive, we move on to the team interview step. For more insights into our interview process, check out this step by step guide.

How do you detect if the candidate is an AppLifter?

Through our in-house built talent acquisition program, we assess three main dimensions which are important to us. 1. Functional fit for the role, 2. Performance, and 3. Potential – how strong you can push yourself, and the company to the next level! Read on to know how our core values guide us to excel.

How would you describe AppLift’s culture and work environment?

The culture at AppLift is very diverse. It’s international, and full of inspiring characters. The work environment here is definitely fast paced and challenging, however very rewarding.

What’s also important for us is your growth and personal development. Therefore, we have different programs in place to support and build your career further.

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Do your research on the company, on the role, be prepared and curious. But more importantly, be yourself!

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon!
